Brief: Compose a piece of aspirational and uplifting music that fits to a presentation video for the global enterprise software company, Sage. Some subtle sound effects will also be required. Sage suggested Coldplay's Paradise as inspiration for the music.

The video will be shown around the country at events encouraging students to enroll on a course teaching valuable business skills.

Morph E4.

E4, Channel 4 TV Corporation.

Brief: "We want you to take our logo and create an original brand sting that smacks of E4 attitude and can be played out on our E4 telly-channel." Duration: 10 seconds.

Inspired by the T4 Toyota Aygo stings, I wanted to create a morphing effect that captured E4's random style of humour. After sketching up some ideas the animation took just a day to create in Adobe Flash.

My entry received over 2,700 public votes and spent considerable time amongst the top 16 highest rated entries! You can see the finalists here.

Project Stealth.

I am part of an online community of developers working on Project Stealth, a free, stand-alone UDK(tm)-powered game based on Stealth Action Multiplayer (SAM) game play. I receive sound design briefs by the producer and have to provide regular updates and examples.

I have created sounds from footsteps on concrete to fragmentation grenade explosions. There is an example below:

Ella Intro.

This soundscape was created for a progressive hardcore band from Bristol called Ella.

Ella's EP On The Verge Of Losing Everything received national acclaim, they toured alongside high profile bands such as Enter Shikari and were on the brink of being signed to an US record label, but after a particularly arduous UK tour everything fell apart.

Telefluenza.

This soundscape was created for a computer composition module at university. The piece was selected to be played at the very first concert in the new Creative Arts building on the Huddersfield University campus, which had been opened by her Majesty The Queen weeks before!
